Art In Office
We got this new caterer called 'Erika's Kitchen' in our office . Upon interacting with their helper boys i found out that they have this talent of making nice designs on the coffee foam. Here is a sample of what they made for me :
On a related note , we have been having this cube decoration contest in our office and i made an attempt to give the traditional hut feel to my cube space. Some snap shots from the same are presented below :

My Experiments with Physical Modelling
| Today i made my first attempt at making a small animated film. I got hold a physics engine called OPAL and used it to generate the frames of the above video. I modelled the cube and the spheres and their positions , interactions etc. as well as the camera motion to get the desired effect. | |

A Poem from old times
I remembered this poem from long time back. It is in hindi and this is my first attempt of sorts at blogging in hindi :-)
मेरे कंधे पर बैठा मेरा बेटा जब मेरे कंधे पे खड़ा हो गया
मुझी से कहने लगा "देखो पापा में तुमसे बड़ा हो गया"
मैंने कहा "बेटा इस खूबसूरत ग़लतफहमी में भले ही जकडे रहना
मगर मेरा हाथ पकडे रखना"
"जिस दिन येह हाथ छूट जाएगा
बेटा तेरा रंगीन सपना भी टूट जाएगा"
"दुनिया वास्तव में उतनी हसीन नही है
देख तेरे पांव तले अभी जमीं नही है"
"में तो बाप हूँ बेटा बहुत खुश हो जाऊंगा
जिस दिन तू वास्तव में मुझसे बड़ा हो जाएगा
मगर बेटे कंधे पे नही ... जब तू जमीन पे खड़ा हो जाएगा"
